Find a program that provides notes and suggestions on the better liquors, what to have with your dinner, etc. After all, not every occasion calls for mixed drinks, and you want to look like a man in the know.

These other features should touch on subjects such as picking the right wine for a meal and include a good vintage chart database. It is not as simple as white wine is good with chicken and a red is good with steak. Try to find a version that has a glossary; when learning about wine, you need to know the language.
