PDA Phone Bargains Not Always a Bargain
When purchasing a PDA phone, the bargain hunter will naturally look for the great deals, and why shouldn't they? The cost of living keeps going up, and families are forced to cut corners just to survive. But, it is important to remember that the cheap PDA's do not necessarily equal the best deal for the money. In fact, sometimes, deep discounts should actually alert the shopper to the fact the PDA may actually contain programming flaws or technical malfunctions that have made other buyers leery of it. On the other hand, sometimes PDA's are discounted because the manufacturer is coming out with a new model. The old model may work perfectly for the bargain shopper's needs.
The best way to determine if a discounted PDA is right for you is to read the reviews. Look online for PDA product reviews, or look to a magazine such as Consumer Report. While one bad review may not tell you much, several may warn you the bargain PDA may not be a good investment for you.
Look for a PDA phone with ample memory, a good processor, and is compatible with wireless technology. If you have an existing PDA, make sure the data it now stores can easily be uploaded into the new PDA, and look into how much of existing accessories can be used with the new PDA. After all, you are looking to upgrade, not start all over. If you take the time to do you homework, you'll know whether that bargain PDA is a real bargain before you ever spend the money.
