PDA Cell Phone: One Device Does It All
In a world where everyone seems to be in a rush and it takes more technology just to get through the day, it's nice to see some things getting simpler, like doing away with the cell phone and PDA in exchange for a combo PDA cell phone.
A PDA phone combines the convenience of phone access anywhere with the organizational abilities of a PDA. When you think about it, what could be more natural? Both the PDA and the standard cell phone already offer an address book. By simply adding phone technology to the PDA, you've actually eliminated the need to duplicate your address book in two places. It is easy to see were standard cell phones may be totally eliminated within a few short years as people see the PDA phone as a more complete technology choice. Why carry a phone that offers voice mail, a few simple games, an address book, and caller id, when you can have all that plus Internet access, word processing, more complex games, and GPS technology? And, the cost difference isn't that significant.
If you are in the market for a PDA phone, look at more than the cost. Look at the features offered and how those features fit into your life. Do you find the operating system easy to work with? Does the PDA offer enough memory and processor speed to grow with you for a little while? After all, you don't want to replace your PDA as often as you replace your socks. Answer these questions and you can purchase a PDA with confidence that it will be an asset to your life.
