About the Palm Zire 72 Case
One of the first PDA accessories you will want to invest in is a good Palm Zire 72 case. You can find dozens of types, from hard leather to soft, and from aluminum to nylon. There are a few things you should ask yourself while you're looking. The primary purpose of a Pocket PC case is to protect it from accidental breakage. A good case is well padded, waterproof, and constructed to take a lot of wear and tear.
No one wants to fumble with their Pocket PC, especially when it also doubles as their cell phone. Look for adequate access to controls and jacks when the handheld computer is in the case. At minimum, you should be able to manipulate your side controls and plug in lines for hot syncing and headphones. It's better if you have easy access to the controls on the front of the computer as well.
Do you have enough storage for peripherals? It's nice to be able to carry a couple of memory cards or even small headphones in your handheld computer case. You should be certain that you can store the items you most often need in the same case as the computer, preferably with each item neatly stashed in its own compartment.
After you have considered storage for all your PDA accessories, then you can consider how the case looks. Doesn't it help you present the image you've worked so hard to create? Once you have found a PDA case that can fill all these needs, then you can make your purchase with confidence that the case will be an asset and not a hindrance to your every day life.
