FreeCell for Pocket PC passes the time.

FreeCell for Pocket PC has hit the PDAs in a big way. Since most computer users play FreeCell at some point in their PC-using lifetime, it's no surprise it's found its way to the handheld PC.

FreeCell is a card game similar to Solitaire, with the primary goal being to clear the table. This is a one-player game that can easily be played quickly and anywhere. To escape from Free Cell, All you do is right click on the "x" at the top of the screen, and for better or worse, the game is over. This is one reason it is so popular. It doesn't take a lot of concentration and since you aren't playing anyone, can easily be interrupted. A quick game while waiting in line, sitting on the bus, or while waiting for something important to download makes for a mini-break during their oh so hectic lives.

Before you download FreeCell or any game to your PDA, check the system requirements. Not all PDAs use the same operating system or come with a processor and enough memory to play all games. Before you purchase FreeCell, shop around, chances are good you will find a freeware version of the game that will work just was well for your purposes.
